Morgan unleashed their latest arrival, the Morgan Sport, at the Prescott Hill Climb this week. Having been driven the car up the hill in anger I can say this is a very exciting car to drive. I felt very quick and nimble through the corners with plenty of torque to send you down the straights at a rate of knots. I was even more impressed with the car after being driven up the course by Glyn Davies, who races a Morgan Roadster. Glyn demonstrated the extrodinary level of grip the car has, which can carry an alarming amount of speed into every corner. Film of this run can be found on the Morgan Wales web site.
Although cloudy for most of the day everyone had a smile as they crowded around the cars, as each car roared into life at the start of the Prescott Hill Climb circuit, and quickly sped up the hill. Driving up the hill was also the new Morgan Aero Max and Morgan Aero 8, along with a Plus 4.
