One of the countries leading ski tour operators, Neilson Active Hollidays, have selected VSI-thinking to develop their eMarketing solution. Integrating the call centre application, reservation bookings, the web site registrations, tracking eNewsletters and recording direct marketing. A customer can update their details on the web site and the new information it is instantly available to the business in real-time.
A major part of the solution is the call centre application which records the details of each contact with the customer. General information together with specific holiday information and any quote is recorded for reference. Whilst on the call the staff are alerted to capture any missing customer details and subscribe them to marketing activity such as targetted eNewsletters. The system can even provide a history or brochure requests, received direct marketing material, even postings to web site forums, blogs and customer reviews.
One of the most exciting aspects of the solution is its ability to track customers that have received direct marketing material. A contact will received a peice of marketing material, with a unique web address, which is used to access the site. The customer is then tracked through the web site, recording the pages they visit. The solution can be used to track eNewsletters, Direct Mail or promotion codes.
