The Welsh Canoe Association, part of the Sports Council for Wales, has had a website refresh, along with employing the latest version of our Content Management System.
The new design features a more aquatic approach, with waves acting as the main. Each individual section of the website is laid out, to separate it from the rest, but at the same time providing fluidity between pages.
The Content Management System provided to the Welsh Canoe Association allows their team to keep the website up to date with little or no training. The system uses a familiar word processing interface to allow users to update content, whilst maintaining the styles of the website. It is very simple to drop pictures into the website, and to create hyperlinks to improve your Search Engine Rankings.
The Content Management System has Search Engine Optimisation built in as standard, enabling the Welsh Canoe Association to have major prominence in the Search Engines. The site automatically creates pages using a number of techniques to ensure they are search engine optimised from the start. The site also allows users to create valid HTML, improving the accessibility of the site.
With this update, the Welsh Canoe Association now have a website that they can update easily and efficiently.
