The people at YouTube seem to be having a lot of free time of late with the introduction of playing snake whilst waiting for videos to load!
It’s unclear when this was introduced, likely to have been when they unveiled the new player.
How to launch Snake:
First pause the video and then hold down the left arrow key. After a few seconds the ‘snake’ will show up and the game starts straight away.
Note that this only works with the new video player, which means that it won’t work with embedded videos or the ones that are being monetized, i.e. have ads around them. There’s not much else to say about it, the game is there, go play!
