CARDIFF-based web solutions company is continuing to drive impressive revenue and client growth.
VSI-thinking was established by its managing director Mark Thomas in 1998.
As well as providing a website for the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, other clients include Neilson Active Holidays, AVIS, the Ministry of Justice, Quanticate, the Welsh Sports Association and the Golf Union of Wales.
From customer traffic analysis, it is estimated that more than five million people see VSI-thinking websites each year, which equates to one in 10 of the UK online population.
VSI-thinking is also a key supplier for travel group Thomas Cook and was instrumental in saving the company more than £1m in 2005-06 through the development and implementation of its worldwide inventory management and stock control system.
Winning the contract in 2005, VSI-thinking’s work for the Celtic Manor Resort has involved constant development of its website and web systems.
The company not only provides the main site, but content management, reservation integration, as well as online tee time booking to play the resort’s Ryder Cup 2010 and other courses.
With the Ryder Cup approaching, VSI-thinking has seen steady growth in spite of the recession, last year, growing 12% to almost £300,000.
About a quarter of its revenues are derived from the Welsh marketplace.
The company projects revenues to increase to £500,000 over the next two years, with the aim of being recognised as a Fast Growth 50 company.
Mr Thomas said: “As one of the longest standing web development companies in Wales our success has been attributed to our innovation.
“This is why clients like Neilsons have been with us 12 years; we are constantly evolving and innovating to keep them and our clients ahead of the competition. As a result we have been able to develop new web services which have won awards for the company.”.
